If you don't mind, I'm curious as to how much the tanks cost (and size)....
Thanks :-)
Not sure yet, likely about $4-5k plumbed into the house (switchable), and that's for long tanks which are about twice as expensive as round ones.
Capacity should be around 5kL
"I thought our government was supposed to work something roughly like this"
Oh no no no -- voters are supposed to work like that, Governments work like this: 1. Do everything in your power to make the other guy look bad, and thus winning the election. 2. Start campaigning for the next term. Somewhere in between government governs, apparently, but everything thing is geared towards getting re-elected -- it just so happens that sometimes what's right is also what's gonna get them re-elected. Those are pretty good days. Though I don't blame politicians trying to get away with murder -- I blame the electorate for failing to care enough about all of us getting screwed. But at least we have compulsory voting, so there's less chance of us getting into the ridiculous situations Americans have to deal with every couple of years.
I understand your take on this, and share it to some degree, but you have to admit that it's nowhere here as bad here in Oz as it is in the US.
Sure our politicians have their nasty side, but it's on a far smaller scale than the "Free-est country in the world".
Yeah, I love how all these otherwise intelligent people start freaking out about drinking "recycled sewage". I would love to sneak into one of these "Ignorant Hicks Against Drinking Recycled Sewage" meetings and see the looks on their faces when you tell them that every single drop of water they have ever consumed in their entire life has been recycled sewage.
