You are allowed to wear lycra, at least until you reach early retirement age, at which point it is both uncool and unthoughtful to wear "skins". Though clearly those in Yarralumla are not of this train of thought. The number of middle aged "baby boomers" getting around in their "skins" and singlet tops is very disturbing. Out of 20 people I saw last Saturday morning at the cafe at least 12 were wearing "skins". Not pleasant viewing at all. Having said that there is nothing quite like the feel of wind whipping past lycra, just remember to wear footy shorts... Bob |
